Every year, I grow a lot of cabbages of different variety in my garden. Pointed cabbage is one of my favourites.This recipe is very tasty and it is really easy to make. I love to share it with you.
500g sweet pointed cabbage (shredded)
50g dried cured bacon (chopped)
1 clove garlic (chopped)
1 small mild red chilli (sliced)
2 teaspoon soy sauce
2 tablespoon cooking oil
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 teaspoon toasted sesame seed
- Heat the cooking oil in a Wok or a large frying pan.
- Fry the chopped bacon till crispy. Drain off the excess oil and set aside.
- Re-heat the oil in the wok. Add garlic and fry lightly without browning.
- Add in the shredded cabbage and chilli and fry for 2 minutes. Stirring all the time.
- Sprinkle with soy sauce and 1 tablespoon of water. Cover with a lid for 1 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve on a warm plate. Sprinkle with sesame oil and toasted sesame seed. Fresh, crispy,crunchy ad absolutely delicious.
